Cabin of Love Loveland, Colorado

Since 1998, lovers Nathan & Julia Bloom have performed in coffee shops and breweries, living rooms, city parks, church gatherings, benefit concerts, backyards, campfires, a county fair, a soup kitchen, a 10k race, a 5k walk, and any other soapbox they are offered.

The Blooms live at home with their two children, where they love to co-create – especially music, meals, and useful beautiful spaces.

Track Name: Only the Fools
We were wrapped in this skin before we could see
But the wise ones soon showed us the way
And here we stand on this common blood-nourished ground
Bewildered babies of Cain
Once in a while we hear a faint echo of innocence crying out loud
But mostly we follow the same beaten path
Run around with the same madding crowd

Only the fools
Only the fools
Only the fools
Listen

In the shards of the wreckage of our broken souls
Lies the truth we have learned to deny
But believe it or not the truth will remain
Long after we've lived out this lie
Once in a while we hear a faint echo of innocence crying out loud
But mostly we sink back into the quilts of our skin
And wrap them around like a shroud

Only the fools
Only the fools
Only the fools
Listen

The foolish few who are dying for change
Who see skin as a gift to give
The only ones whose footprints mark the bloody soil
Who know to die is to live
To die is to live

Of whom the world
Of whom the world
Of whom the world
Is not worthy

The foolish few who dare to love and lose
And sing and shout and dance
And venture past the golden gates of their city
That lies in a trance.

Only the fools
Only the fools
Only the fools
